Our travel gurus will give you advice about must-see destinations & time you should spend for different activities so that you can have the best travel experience in Vietnam.
DAY 01: Welcome to Hanoi - Brief introduction (D)
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by TMA tour guide, then transfer to hotel for check-in. Relaxing in your hotel.
After that, you will have a small talk with our friendly travel advisors to have some essential information about the country & the city. You will also be given a free Hanoi map from us and try to learn some basic Vietnamese.
Take a short walk around the crowded streets in the Old Quarter to have the first feeling about the bustling atmosphere of Hanoi. Then enjoy a welcome dinner with authentic Vietnamese food.
In the evening, get back to your hotel to relax. Overnight in your hotel.
DAY 02: Hanoi city tour with hidden coffee shop (B/L) This full day city tour - well-designed for newcomers to Hanoi - will be the most ideal way for you to have a thorough overview of the city within a short time. Our tour guide will take you around the most interesting sights in town, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and his Stilts House, the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then spend some peaceful time in Tran Quoc Pagoda, an ancient architecture situated right in the most beautiful corner of West Lake. After that, you will enjoy lunch at nice local restaurant with some typical Vietnamese cuisine. Following the lunch, we drive further to visit Ethnology Museum, which is one of the most famous & attractive museums - highly recommended by lots of worldwide tourist communities. On the way back to the Old Quarter, we will take a look at the famous Temple of Literature, then drive to Hoan Kiem lake to take an hour cyclo tour around the heart of the city. The last stop is to drop-in a hidden coffee shop nestled behind crowded houses and narrow lanes. This is a perfect opportunity to get a taste of Hanoi with Vietnamese egg coffee and yogurt coffee.
The tour will end shortly as our tour guide will take you back to the hotel for relaxing. Note: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays, and most museums are closed on Mondays. If your tour falls on one of these days, you will have equivalent alternative options to visit.
